I suppose it is still so:

That everything happens for a reason

There are some things we cannot control

There are those with other opinions

Who unfortunately get in our way!

That is what makes this country-

- and I chose this country as mine-

Safer than many other countries

Freer than many other countries

Those others with their bothersome opinions

Are parts of this country

And do have the freedom to say what they want

However...will we still be safer?

Will we still be freer?

That remains to be seen

That remains to fight for

The activists for free choice

The activists for the homeless

Those who fight for women's rights

The activists for gay rights
